Happier Times

I hate leaving things on a sour note. I hated that my last post was so sad so I've been meaning to get something happier up here.
Shortly after we got the news about Max we took the kids to Disneyworld. It was a great distraction. We had planned to do this trip sort of like a "last time we'll be a family of five" kind of trip. Hopefully that will be the case!
Anyways, we got some great pics and thought I'd share a few. Willem found a bunch of fun iphone apps that edit pics into old polaroid or lomography formats. He was a little shutter happy but they came out great.
We all had a blast but of course Derek was the funnest to watch. This was his first trip and he was the perfect age and height! (he could ride most rides) My parents were great too. Nothing like Disneyworld to make grown adults act like kids again.
On the adoption front...
We are getting happier since our last post. We still struggle with our being said about Max but we feel like God has him in His hands. The region is maintaining he is fine but won't look into substantiating that. It makes it hard as we want him to be healthy more than anything. They are committed to finding him a family though which makes me happy.
As for us, we are being registered in a new region, Ivanovo. We are super excited about this as it seems like a great region. Kids seem to be really well taken care of and have great facilities. I've also found a great yahoo group with kids from that region that have done a great job of making me feel at home and offering their help with any questions we have.
Happy Friday everyone...

Shutter happy, yes. 1.99 app that acts like a old school film camera is lots of fun. I used different type for each park.
